Plants usually with rhizomes or crowns, sometimes enlarging by offsets from stem/caudex bases. Leaves linear-oblanceolate to oblanceolate or narrowly spatulate; (2-)3-16 × 2-14 mm, bases not persistent. Involucres 4.5-7.5 mm.
