Stems 4-20 cm, scabrous, pubes-cent, hairs 2-4 times as long as broad. Leaf blades narrowly lin-ear to lanceolate, 1.5-5 cm × 2-10(-15) mm. Petals dusty pink. Flowering summer. Serpentine outcrops; 1200-1500 m; Calif. Subspecies campanulata intergrades freely with subsp. glandulosa, which is the common and more widely occurring form of this species. Subspecies campanulata is found in Colusa, Mendocino, Shasta, Tehama, and Trinity counties.
