Leaf blade channeled, carinate, ± falcate, equaling scape, 1-3 mm wide. Scape 15-35+ cm. Umbel loose, 10-35-flowered; spathe bracts 2, apex acuminate. Flowers 6-8 mm; tepals white to pale pink with deep pink or purple midribs; pedicel 4-21 mm. 2n = 14. Flowering Apr--May. Rocky, sandy, or clay soils; 600--2100 m; Calif. Allium lacunosum var. davisiae is known only from the western Mojave Desert to the southern Central Valley.
