Heads 1-12. Involucres 8-10 mm. Phyllaries lanceolate, strongly stipitate-glandular, apices acute. Cypselae dark brown, 3.5-7.5 mm, tapered, not beaked; pappi 4-6 mm. 2n = 22. Flowering Jun-Jul.
